When my neighbors here in Dallas mentioned that they wanted to get all dressed up for their family photo session, I was jazzed! Do you need a better reason to buy a new dress (and in pastel pink for that matter) than for getting some incredible memories documented?! My excitement continued to rise as we discussed and consulted through the style for the session. We decided that some soft florals would be a fun way to usher in the spring season.
Inspiration comes in the strangest of places. My friend had just moved into a new house and had been doing some gardening...and guess what I found among her pile of discarded garden clippings?! I saw the most perfect rustic branch for this session's baby girl portrait backdrop. You can see the final branch and floral back drops below in the pictures below. This glamorous family session turned out perfect...down to the floral and rustic design choices that accented the family photographs just the right amount!
