We all know that the summer heat in the Dallas area can be brutal...that's why I'm so glad to be able to offer my clients maternity sessions in the studio! My photographer friend helped me explore new spaces and set-ups in the studio that is mostly used for newborn photography. We opted for a cozy lifestyle feel to the session with comfy sweaters, poses, and mommy-daughter cuddles. But you know we could not neglect a little fancy dress up as well! It's amazing how the perception of our bodies change after having children or suffering the loss of previous pregnancies. My friend was so vulnerable and overjoyed to celebrate her baby bump, that we showed it off in some of the pictures as well. She shared about her loss and joys during our session which made me so grateful to memorialize these stages through photography.
