There are 1000 things to love about newborn photography, but at the top of that list is mamas and their babies. No offense to Dads, of course, but just look that these first images of mom and her newborn. Could they be any sweeter, any more pure, natural, organic even?! Yes, the studio is semi-posed, but I basically tell you where to stand and then say "snuggle with your baby" rather than "say cheese" and the mommy and me relationship magic just makes the shot. We just started offering a wardrobe for new moms and pregnant mamas and I was so pleased to be able to use one of the new pieces in this session. The studio wardrobe helped our mama to feel beautiful and comfortable while interacting with her new baby girl. We were also able to incorporate a more casual look for the family photos and pair a more elegant maxi dress for the mommy and me portion of the session. Overtime, my newborn session style has evolved to incorporate more family relationship shots than just the posed newborn and I am in love.
