With baby #1, we just call it a maternity session, but with baby #2, it's really a family photography session! I love working with expecting mamas and their babies because there is extra excitement and anticipation as you watch the sibling interact with their soon to be sibling! Expectant siblings have the funniest perspective on what is going on in their Mom and what might change in their family. One toddler named his little brother "bumpy" because of they way mom's tummy was taking shape to his surprise! Older siblings love to kiss and tickle the baby bump which makes the most precious pictures and memories. Making the big brother or big sister a part of the session helps to enforce that they have a very important role to play in this big change in their family dynamic. My kids especially love looking back on the pictures and exclaim "there I am, in Mommy's tummy"!
